“The unexamined life is not worth living” is a phrase that has been uttered through time. But, what does it mean? How does one start, to take up, the process of seeing and exploring who they are, what they stand for, and where they find meaning? It’s not as scary as you may think, come find out for yourself.

Who I Am

Lynn Fitch, MSW LCSW

I’m just a normal guy with a laptop, a fluffy black cat, and a living room that plays host to some of the best conversations and insights that I both get to participate in and bear witness to. I am deeply interested in you and what you are experiencing and desire to curate a space steeped in compassionate understanding and accountability. My lens is rooted in making meaning of one’s own life and exploring your unique pathway to becoming your authentic self and leaning into your own life, complete with all of its competing and confusing circumstances. I am deeply conversational in approach and find value in exploring value systems, motivation, and personal narrative.

While it sounds “scary” on paper, my primary lens is existential which simply means “as it applies to one’s life.” By this definition, you, the reader, are currently participating in an existential act by exploring therapy. It’s little wonder that a small-town Indiana boy who grew up looking at the stars fell into this lens. My career has had many facets and has included participation in different organizational styles and systems such as child welfare, inpatient hospitalization, intensive outpatient, outpatient therapy, crisis mitigation and management, and collaborative case management. It is safe to say that there are very few things that I am therapeutically unprepared for or intimidated by, so please never feel too big or too messy to seek therapy. You are welcome here.

Education

I received my Master of Social Work degree with a concentration in mental health and addictions from Indiana University South Bend in 2021 and my full clinical (LCSW) licensure in 2023.

I received my Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in leadership from Cumberland University in 2025.

I am currently a student through the Center for Existential Analysis and Logotherapy and will be completing my initial diploma in August of 2026 and am on track for full certification in 2027.
